Garden design is the aspect of our work at FMN that we enjoy the most. We love creating an outside space that works for your needs, whether it’s a child-friendly area, or a beautiful entertaining space for those long summer evenings.

Our founders, Roman and Harry, are qualified landscape architects, and will be focused on designing and building a garden that is truly special and unique to you.

How does a garden design work?

Our process for designing a garden is the same for any job, no matter how big or small.

When you contact us, we will arrange a suitable date for a site visit, at which time we will have a discussion about your ideas and vision for the garden, the budget, and any special requirements (child-friendly / pet-friendly / studio for work / sunken trampoline / etc.). We can also make some suggestions in line with what you have in mind.

We will then photograph and measure the site, and perform a survey. This includes taking note of any existing plants, especially trees, that need to be taken into account or removed, and looking into any other factors that could affect the design or construction.

Following this, we will provide a quote, and on your approval, begin the actual garden design work.

We always try, where possible, to send our design through within a week for your approval. When you are happy with the plan, we can set a date to begin construction and installation, and get started with transforming your garden!
